Cocaine Confessions

I was around a culture of cocaine-taking from the age of 13 after working in a hair salon.

All the stylists would get together after a long Saturday shift and rack up a line out the back in the kitchen.

I would watch and I wanted to be part of that clique.

The stylists would say to me: "Oh no, you're too young", but I was already using speed by then and I'd started smoking when I was nine.

I'm from an inner city area of London and it was kind of normal to take drugs.
